Former professional Oil Trader with a successful track record and career of close to two decades working with supermajor oil companies and trading companies in the world energy giants such as Shell, Total, Trafigura and Socar.

In addition to expertise in physical trading, he is proficient in derivatives future/swaps/options and synthesizing these strategies with the physical business, and also has extensive experience in operations, shipping, refinery management, product blending and economics, strategy formation and rollout, and team management.

Heading Global Markets Trading at CNRS, he is also involved in Renewable Energy Design and shipbuilding that includes state-of-the-art new age vessel design and technology.

Heading up the leadership function at CNRS he is ultimately responsible for making managerial decisions at the company.  As a downstream expert achievement in his career includes sector involvement from Oil Refinery through Oil Terminals and Shipping to Retail​ Network, Commercial, Aviation, LPG bottling and in the Lubricants business lines.

He has operated as a senior energy executive and entrepreneur and has  nearly four decades experience at Major Energy Companies.

A seasoned senior energy executive and entrepreneur has held posts at multinational integrated energy and petroleum companies, including Managing Director roles over a 17+ year career at TotalEnergies, one of the seven supermajor oil companies in the world.  In his past, he was also Director of Purchasing Africa at Elf Aquitaine (merged with Total Fina to form TotalFinaElf).

As a CEO for TotalEnergies, he led businesses in 10 countries, and successfully developed downstream retail, commercial and energy activities in the United Kingdom, France, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Pakistan/Afghanistan, Cambodia, Fiji, Tonga, Papua New Guinea.

Emphasizing the Oil & Gas industry for Fund investment allocations since stationing in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 2015 at the behest of a member of the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi.

Has spent over three decades in merchant banking, asset management, M&A, private equity and the securities industry with significant M&A tier-1 transaction experience with global investment banks doing significant fund, structuring and financial transaction work on long extended residency in New York City, San Francisco, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City.

Ranked by Morningstar in the top 25% for over a decade. Morningstar and Barron’s also rated him the #1 Fund Manager (Global Macro), separately, for the years of 1994, 1995, 2000, and 2001 for superb, annualized performance.
